Management of diabetes during Ramadan: the potential of newer interventions

<p>In this article, the authors review the potential complications of fasting during Ramadan and summarise the currently available guidelines. They also assess the potential of newer interventions, including patient education programmes and drug treatments, to help improve the management of people with diabetes who are fasting during Ramadan.</p>
